1 pound = 453.592 gm
1 Barrel =158.987 lit
1 PTB =1 pound / 1000 barrel
=453.592 gm / 1000 * 158.987 lit
PPM = mg / Litre
=(453.592 *1000) mg / (1000* 158.987) lit
Therefore =(453.592 *1000) mg / (1000 *158.987)lit
=453592 mg / 158987 lit
1 PTB =2.8530 PPM
1 PPM =0.3505 PTB

SUPPOSE MY CRUDE DENSITY IS 0.838 AND 0.890 WHETHER MY PPM WILL BE SAME AS YOU SAID
1 PTB=2.85 PPM
PPM=ptb×2.85/SPECIFIC GRAVITY
Deleteyes it is
Delete1PTB= (API+131.5)* 0.20205 ppm
Thanks for information

ReplyDeleteHello shankarji
ReplyDeleteAnant from USA how r you sir I need help I search job in USA and Other do need full
Thanks Bro
ReplyDeleteIf you are reporting mg/L as ppm, then the calculation is already in mass/unit volume, so sp.gravity will not affect the value.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Its helpful
ReplyDeleteThanks
